In many ways, 2023 has been a rewarding year for me, offering numerous opportunities for creativity, discovery, and personal growth. Having the opportunity to wander around the streets of Tokyo during my brief layovers was one of these outstanding experiences.

All of the photographs in the Japan Issue "Oyasumi," meaning Good Night, were shot at night. Despite Tokyo's attraction to crowds, I had the pleasure to witness a side of the city that was free of people and commotion. It was a truly pleasant realization to feel at ease and unconstrained, as though I had all the time in the world.

In contrast to my first zine, this issue has fewer pages and focuses on a limited set of photographs created in a zine layout.
To add more to the Japanese vibes, I bound the pages using the Japanese bookbinding method.

I also included a linocut print based on one of my images from this trip, as well as a film canister from my old films that I processed and turned into a keychain.
